Thea Brown is an academic policy and program researcher in family violence, partnership breakdown, filicide, and social work education. Her work on family violence in the context of partnership breakdown has led to new Family Court programs (Magellan Program) and legislative change Family Law Legislation Amendment (Family Violence and Other Measures), 2011.

Dr Danielle Tyson is a Senior Lecturer and Co-Convenor of Criminology at Deakin University. Her interdisciplinary research in the socio-legal space has been key to policy improvement.

Associate Researcher

Dr Paula Fernandez Arias is an associate researcher at the Department of Social Work, Monash University and is a Co-convener of with the Monash Deakin Filicide Research Hub. Her research focuses on the intersection between gender, reproductive rights, and criminolegal outcomes for women.
